Uploading to ChristianCall

You only have to do this install one time.  Once the Linas program is on your PC and setup, then the next time all you have to do is double click LinasFTP.exe and then click CONNECT.

Ok, here we go:

1. download the Linas file to your computer main DESKTOP.  RIGHT CLICK on the file LinasFTP.exe, then click SAVE AS and save to the desktop of your PC.

2. open and print the 2 GIF picture files called "site manager screen" and "main screen" so you can refer to them.  You don't have to print them, but it can be handy.

3. from the DESKTOP (main windows screen) double click and run the "LinasFTP" program file.

4. you should see the windows as shown in the "site manager screen.gif" picture.

5. you should see a smaller window called SITE MANAGER, fill in the blanks as shown in the Linas screen.gif picture. The PASSWORD is the same as USER NAME, which is ccat284. Be sure and click SAVE PASSWORD and NORMAL.

6. Then click CONNECT, the SITE MANAGER window will disappear.

7. After a few seconds, you should see a screen that looks like the "main screen.gif" picture

8. The files on your PC will be in the LEFT side of the window and the remote destination is on the RIGHT side. On the RIGHT side, double click the folder named for your web site to open it.

9. on the LEFT side, go to the directory containing the files you want to send on your PC.

10. UPLOAD the files, CLICK AND DRAG THEM to the RIGHT side. UPLOAD will begin. You can select multiple files on the LEFT side and UPLOAD many at one time. You can also select an entire folder and UPLOAD that and everything in it. You can help organize your files your are sending by renaming your file folders with helpful descriptions, before you do the UPLOAD.

11. A second way to UPLOAD is to RIGHT CLICK on your file or folder, then select UPLOAD from the pop-up menu.

12. Watch the status of the UPLOAD in the bottom line of the LinasFTP window. When done, just close LinasFTP.

13. Next time you start LinasFTP, the SITE MANAGER will be filled in, then just click CONNECT and you are ready to UPLOAD
